Description
This walk takes you along the old railway line that once ran from the Commentry coal mines to Montluçon and the Moulin de Beaufrancon.
You’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the town and the orchards of Delbard, renowned for their work in plant breeding, production and distribution. You’ll walk alongside the River Oeil and pass through the Vieux-Bourg. (Pierre Munier was a former member of the citizens’ council who spearheaded the re-signposting of Commentry’s walking routes.)
