Description
The Bourbonnais writer Jean-Charles Varennes often drew inspiration from Murat throughout his career. Murat is a villa with a rich historical past ; its castellany was one of the most important in the Bourbonnais region. At the foot of the old castle, you can discover a spring that never freezes, ‘Le Creux Chaud’, where women used to wash their clothes.
